Design from knowledge, Design for knowledge ;

Hi guys,

i am Onkar, i am studying in engineering now (mechanical)

i am intrsted to give you knowledge which is related to our designing feild & Advanced Electric Vehicles, which is very essential to know about this for our smart future...

for this reason i shearing my knowledge which is correct & accurate & i verified all the contents which is mentioned in this blog with some professors & some industrial experts..

I wish this is helpful for you guys....

Introduction to the Design Process

Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)  Definition of Design - • Engineering design is the process of devising a system, component, or process to meet desired needs.  • It is a decision-making process (often iterative), in which the engineering sciences and mathematics are applied to convert resources optimally to meet a stated objective.  • Among the fundamental elements of the design process are the establishment of objectives and criteria, synthesis, analysis, construction, testing and evaluation.  • Mechanical design means the design of components and systems of a mechanical nature—machines, products, structures, devices and instruments.  • For the most part mechanical design uses mathematics, materials, and the engineering-mechanics sciences.  • Additionally, it uses engineering graphics and the ability to communicate verbally to clearly express your ideas. • Mechanical engineering design includes all mechanical...

Initiatives launched by the Indian Government for Electric Vehicle or Promoting the Electric vehicle

Vehicular pollution is a major contributor to the rising levels of pollution in India. Electric vehicles have zero on-road emission and can minimise the production of greenhouse gasses. To promote the adoption of electric vehicles, the  Department of Heavy Industry  formulated the  FAME India Scheme  (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid &) Electric Vehicles in India) in 2015 for the initial period of two years, with the first phase starting in April. According to an official  press release , the Phase-I of the Scheme was extended to March 2019. In this phase, about 280,000 hybrid and electric vehicles were supported by way of a demand incentive amounting to about IN 359 crores (about US $50.5 million). This resulted in saving around 50 million litres of fuel and the reduction of around 124 million kilograms of CO2. Phase-I saw the development of about 500 charging stations across the country. Also, Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL...
